Cinco de Mayo, a celebration which commemorates the victory of Mexico over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla on May 5th. It has become every bit as popular as everyone celebrates Mexican culture in the United States with a Cerveza or two. Celebrations began in California, where they have been observed annually since 1863. The first Cinco de Mayo parties in the US take place in Columbia, California, as residing Mexican miners get news of the battle.
A much celebrated festival in the areas of the USA with large Mexican-American populations, like Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, New York, followed by Cleveland, Boston, Indianapolis, Raleigh, Dallas, San Antonio, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Miami, Orlando, Denver, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Tucson, San Francisco, San Jose, and San Diego.
Book a flight to celebrate the victory, experience the authentic Mexican cuisine and music with the tradition of enjoying Cerveza.
